Great staff working hard. The team there was professional and very helpful! They work super hard and are probably overworked and underpaid. I got there on a weekday at 740 and there was already 25 people in front of me. I got my ticket when they started handing them out at 8. They start helping people at 9. I got called into the building to wait inside around 1100, and was done by 1140. The nice lady went out of her way to explain a few extra processes to me. Very kind. Four hours from start to finish, which is long, but better than waiting two months for an appointment!

You can walk in but they start handing out numbers at 8AM for their 9AM opening and there's often a line by 7AM. You might want to get there early to ensure you get seen.
Don't know the week day times. The weekend time is 0900-1200. They only pass out 40 tickets for Saturday and they get passed out at 0800 at the grocery store attached to it. First come first serve so get there extra early to get a ticket. They go fast.

No, just go early if you go to Palmyra, they only do title and registrations (just had one from a private sale done myself) they only serve 80 people a day so go early, don't forget the bill of sale off the DMV website.
Pretty sure you can do that part online.

Not to my knowledge. There doesn't appear to be any setup for pictures. If you have a driver's license already, you can get one on line and they use your driver's license picture.
