Stayed here for 2 nights as a couple in the Mt Clay room. Everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out was amazing. The welcome, the service, the room, the bar, the restaurant and the breakfast were all more than we expected. They even had a pianist in one evening we were there, who was very talented. The room was spacious, spotless, cozy and very nice. It had a shower and a separate double width jacuzzi bath, both of which worked really well. The bar has a good selection of drinks and also does cocktails. The food & service quality in the restaurant were both great and really added to the vacation. We ate outside at every opportunity as the views overlooking the presidential mountains were stunning both morning and evening as the sun set. Fully recommend the Inn at Thorn Hill and we will definitely be coming back as and when we're in the area.

The coziest inn in the mountains. We walked up to the smell of a campfire and pine. Wonderful service at the restaurants, Rebekah took care of us often and had so many amazing recommendations on what to do in the area. Sherri was also wonderful. All of the front desk staff were so welcoming and pleasant, Nancy greeted us with champagne at check in, which really set the tone for our stay. The views from our room were incredible, and we fell asleep with the fire on in our room every night. So many sweet small touches, such as s’mores kits, bedtime tea and home made cookies. I could go on and on, we loved our stay here and will definitely be back in the future!

Room was great and had some very nice perks that are hard to find nowadays: champagne at check in, chocolates on the bed, tea and cookies in the evening. We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and it was amazing!

The inn was amazing! The staff were incredible! We were blown away by the service, food, and the late night tea and cookies. They do don’t skimp on the comforts! The 2 person jacuzzi, robes, and view of the mountain were epic. I will definitely be back for sure!
