Worst campground I've been to in a while. Toilets were locked and had porta-potties instead. They were not cleaned in what looked like weeks or months. Entering one will change your view of humanity. We left without paying. Hopefully in future it will improve, but I'll never be back.

Site 27 was really great. Stayed right on the river. Fire pit, bear box. Not too far from (flush) toilets. Nice campground. Site host was very friendly. Would recommend!

Nice bathrooms, bucket provided to out out fires, and most campsites are next to the stream which has dammed up areas for swimming. Great for relaxing in a tube and not far from the lake. No hiking trails but I was told there were some good fishing spots.

Love being right on the water. So pretty. Listening to the river as you sleep is extremely relaxing

There are 2 handicap spots, 1 is paved. Flushing toilets, sinks with cold water in the 3 restrooms and faucets throughout the campsite. Paved drive ways at each sight, various lengths. Something for everyone. The cute town of Chilcoot is 5 miles away for easy access to ice as well as Frosty's for amazing shakes and food.

Is this campground closed or open? Google says temporarily closed which I am sure is due to the fires. Today recreation.gov sent me a confirmation email for my reservation next Wednesday. I am confused and no one answers at the campground.

Yes, but they must be on a leash. We had the dogs off the leash at the creek, but the forest police came by and gave us a warning to have them on a leash or we would get a ticket
