A good place to get away. We had campsite 1 and it was pretty spacious. Watch out for skunks and snakes. There’s plenty of little spots that make the river look very nice. A good place to camp at. We also encountered a huge bee swarm but they just flew away. Would definitely recommend this campground

Halfway campground is a great place to take the family for a good family time the water is nice and warm and the rovers current is not too strong, the only thing is the weather is was to hot

Just go to the website and you can pick and reserve which site you want it allows you to pre-pay for it at time of reservation is done, it shows which sites are available and booked both. Very easy webpage to navigate and use
If you mean reservation, yes. Reservation is needed. You can go under the Recreation . Gov website to reserve a campsite here. Just search the Campsite's name and it'll show all the spots available.
No, you have to reserve it online. There are some areas where you park for the day but that party that reserved it can call you in if you stay passed a certain time
Yes the river runs below its great! Group 5 is my favorite spot to be at.
