I’ve lived at Winterhaven for the last 2 yrs. It’s designated as nonsmoking, but tenants are allowed to smoke wherever they want. I’ve been inhaling second hand smoke for 2 years, which affects my asthma. Management refuses to do anything about it. The manager is a fat, lazy, prejudiced nasty person. If you’re on her good side and you smoke, you will be applauded by her and the complaining tenant will be forced to leave. There are at also issues with aggressive homeless people on the property threatening tenants. Manager permits and encourages this. She has thrown paying tenants out of the clubhouse and banned them, while allowing homeless people in to raid the coffee bar and fill their water bottles. Manager needs to be fired. Set a higher standard. The location is great, apartments are bright and sunny, but this is not a luxury complex as advertised. The pool is green and closed for a good portion of the year, the security gates are broken, there is no hot tub, weight room, or movie theater like most luxury complexes have. They call it luxury, but it isn’t. Like lipstick on a pig.

Winterhaven Senior Apartments negligence caused tenants to get sick after they swam in the ALGAE ridden swimming pool in August 2022. Winterhaven Senior Apartments manager failed to keep pool clean. Southern Nevada Health District now Investigating the Winterhaven Senior Apartments which is a health hazard to the tenants. Management at Winterhaven Senior Apartments are negligent and hateful of the tenants.

I have been here about six months and have seen this place decline. Current management and staff are rude and disrespectful, and don’t seem concerned with helping.
