Save yourself grief, stress and money and go somewhere else! We purchased a granite countertop from Alfa as part of our kitchen remodel based on the recommendation of our contractor; he was transparent about receiving a commission from them for the referral and sale. Unfortunately during the installation, Alfa made the cuts next to our farmhouse sink apron too wide, resulting in two very obvious gaps on either side (see pics). When we contacted them to have this resolved, we were told by the front desk person (Fran?) that everything would have to be pulled out and replaced and to come over and pick out a new slab. Naturally, we were alarmed but went to the shop on 747 and looked at other slabs. During that visit we spoke with Kim, the salesperson and showed her the pictures. She quickly agreed that everything would need to be replaced and that, if we couldn’t find a slab we liked in the yard there, we could pick one from a partner shop just down the road. Then she called the owner and immediately reversed course after he told her that they would absolutely NOT replace the countertops but that he would personally fix it. I was skeptical and asked for pictures of similar fixes they’d made. Long story short, I never received any pictures, and Alfa quickly reneged on their promise to fix the gaps. Instead, they reverted to a blame-the-contractor strategy, claiming that the sink should have been installed prior to the countertops. This is patently ridiculous, since the sink is designed to install on top of the countertop. It also fails to address the basic reality that the sink apron is exactly 33” wide and the gap they cut in the granite is 33 and 5/16 inches. The contractor withheld Alfa’s final payment and despite his numerous attempts to contact the owner, Osman, he was unsuccessful. Meanwhile Kim, the salesperson, continued to deny Alfa’s responsibility for both the mistake and the fix. She also repeatedly demanded payment, and threatened to seek a lien on our property. Ultimately, we left it in the hands of our contractor to resolve with Alfa if possible. Needless to say, he was also appalled at Alfa’s mistake, their failure to take responsibility and make it right, and their attempts to throw him under the bus instead.

Wonder customer service & quality products. Love our granite countertops in our kitchen.. edit; damaged our vanity in bathroom when installing granite. They did deduct money from the total bill due to damage they caused.
