My child has regular blood draws and the office at Brittonfield has been great… she really doesn’t want it done elsewhere. We’ve never had trouble getting a good stick… In the past we’ve actually driven here to get it done (successfully, quickly) *right after* having endured the painful process of another clinic (not a Laboratory Alliance location) being unable to get the blood. We’ve also left hospital clinics where the wait was lasting way too long, and come here to be seen right away. The process has always been quick, professional, straightforward for us. When we had a previous provider who was terrible at managing scripts they were understanding and helpful. They always answer the phone and field questions well and pleasantly. Definitely recommend based on my experience!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The experience I had at this lab was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had in any medical setting. As someone who works in healthcare, I completely understand how draining it can be, especially during a pandemic. With that being said, I could never imagine treating another human the way I was treated. I entered the office at 3:37pm for blood work from my OB clinic after my first prenatal appointment. The sign on the door stated the lab closed at 4pm. I do understand it was 23 minutes before closing time but having driven an hour for the appointment and having had no one tell me previously the lab closed at 4pm I thought it wouldn’t be too much of a problem. The two women in the lab said they would draw my blood “as a courtesy” while looking visibly annoyed that I was there. I filled out the paperwork as fast as I could and was then taken into a room for the blood draw. The two women worked together to get my blood drawn as quickly as possible, which wouldn’t have been a problem except for them using the largest needle possible to assure it was the quickest and immediately blew my vein. I started bruising immediately after my blood draw and am still dealing with pain the day after it while the bruise keeps expanding. I would recommend avoiding this clinic and the unprofessional people who work in at all costs. I understand everyone wants to be done with work early, but if leaving work early is put above basic human decency then that is a problem.

There is no way the other reviews could be talking about the girl I know! It is nearly impossible for most people to draw my blood. I am the dreaded "hard stick" they probably warn about in school. Other places I have gone, 2 or 3 different people would try multiple times but to no avail. Made even worse when the people get visibly frustrated & tell me to try a different lab location tomorrow. Well I finally found THE "different location." I first met Hannah at a different location & ever since then I would track down the location she was working in. I once drove over an hour away just to see her. Not only is she able to get it every time, but she is very calm & patient with me and never makes me feel bad. (I have honestly left other places in tears) Lab work used to give me crazy anxiety & instant dread when the doctor would hand me that order, but not anymore because of Hannah. She is by far, the best phlebotomist I have ever gone to in my 37 years of being alive. She is at this location permanently now so if you dread getting lab work done like I used to or are a "hard stick," this is the place to go!!

Questions & Answers

How packed are Lab Alliances typically and now with Covid? If there’s a ton of people, they won’t have them be all crammed in a waiting room. Can you make an appointment? How does it work? Thanks.

Go to 5000 and when you go through the doors, go to the left. Follow around to the right and take the first hallway to the end. They are on the left. You will need to wear a mak.
