They now use a 3rd party to process online payments which means they cannot help you if you paid for your tags online and that system is terrible. When I called to see if they had been mailed out yet, she wouldn't even check, said I had to call and ask the online payment processing people. Why can you not check to see if you have mailed out my tags? You would be the ones that mailed them out...They never care when they slow down your day or are rude on the phone, even when you are being as nice as you can possibly be. Even when I want to be rude back, I hold it in because I want to get this figured out and it never helps with these people. Just the worst.

The people who answer the phone are extremely rude. It doesn't take much to properly answer the phone and be courteous. How about having some manners?! Too much to ask for?

People only leave comments if they're angry. You know what? I've lived in KCK for over a decade, and I've never had a problem with the fine folks at the Treasury office. They're professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, even when people are being jerks to them. I'm writing this while waiting for my turn in line to register a new car. These people are doing a thankless job, and they're doing it well. Be nice to them next time you go into the office.

Terrible customer service over the phone. Out of state trying to get answers about my totaled cars title and process of power of attorney and was continuously cut off and after I said all of my questions just hung up. I’m sure it’s a crappy job but it takes absolutely no energy to just be decent with people
