I don’t know where to start, The list is so long, but what I can say is I’ve been using imperial marble and granite for over 15 years for all my projects.. The operation that they have is by far one of the best I’ve seen around, The owners Walter and Crystal are always there when I need them they always pick up the phone, their guys in the shop and in the field have become friends with my team, it’s like one big happy family over there every customer I send to them before we do their renovation project raves about them. They are so happy to work with imperial because of the knowledge and compassion they have about what they do for people.. I can say this every job they have installed for me has been nothing less than perfect!! An amazing company that has great people to work with Who make my customers dreams come true! Thank you Streamline construction Michael Fazio

Imperial Granite & Marble Inc installed all of our countertops and fireplace in our new home. The fireplace was custom designed and brought to life just as we hoped. Communication was seamless. Walter and team did a a great job. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you very much!

Can't say anything but 'exceptional' for our experience with Imperial Granite & Marble for our kitchen upgrade project. Walter runs a great business and we really like the fact that his team can take care of not just the countertop but also backsplash installs, sink installs, cooking range and vent hood installs. So, it is like a one stop shop for kitchen upgrade projects. First of all, kudos to Amanda in the front office for her ever cheerful and helpful attitude. She patiently answered all our emails and was very patient with us during the stone selection and appointment process. Walter, did the measurement himself and did a fantastic job with it. We went with a leather-ed finish black granite and we couldn't be happier with the cuts and the installation process. We love the finish every morning we look at it. The granite installation went smoother than expected and was done very professionally within the allocated time. They had motorized lifts to bring in the stone slabs (we had some pretty big pieces) and the stone did not touch anything in the house. It was pretty fascinating to watch. Miro did a great job with our sink, cooking range and new dishwasher installation. He was very personable and told us exactly what parts we needed for the plumbing. It was great working with him and the quality of his work was outstanding. A special thanks to Ihor for all his hard work in installing our backsplash. He did a double herringbone pattern and it looks amazing (see pics). We went back and forth about grout colors, edge lines and he was very patient with all our choices. He also helped us remove an old writing desk and convert that into a counter top. During this entire 2 month process of renovation, a clear time and date was laid out in advance by Walter. Everything went as scheduled and that speaks volumes about Walter's organization and his professionalism. Finally, coming to the price, I feel we got the best rates in town for everything they did. They are very well priced and every single person working for Walter is very honest and did not change the price we agreed on. I would also like to note that we cook pretty much every meal at home and at no time during this process did we stop cooking in the kitchen (except a few evenings). Thanks Walter and team, we will return to you guys for any future projects!

When we decided that our kitchen reno would revolve around having a waterfall edge countertop, we sought out the advice of a few local contractor acquaintances and their unanimous response was always that there was no one better in town than Walter and his team. My partner and I showed up to the showroom with no appointment (be better than us!) and were still met with absolute cheer by Amanda. She provided guidance as to what was where and when we needed more assistance narrowing down the options, her knowledge was very helpful in making the ‘final’ selections. As if this wasn’t enough to have me over the moon after months of other horrible showroom experiences, they were able to schedule us for on site measuring way faster than we anticipated- a huge help to our project timeline. When Walter came to measure he was entirely professional, knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. Our dream was to have Calcutta quartz but the install posed a few challenges. First off, the prominent veining in Calcuttas can be notoriously hard to align over long runs- an issue because we have a straight 20’+ run with a corner ‘L’ turn… we knew there would be at minimum 2 seems. Add a 10’x5’ island with waterfall edges at either end and a matching backsplash- we knew this was a tall ask going in. Walter was open and realistic about the expectations. I’m a perfectionist, but also a fairly reasonable person- so based on his recommendations and the experience up to that point, we knew we were in good hands. A week and a half later when his team did the majority of the install it was a rainy Rochester day, so everything was muddy and gross. I mention this because they even took extra care at protecting the new floors with drop cloths they brought and by being really considerate of how they were working (the slab sizes required them to go through a LOT of soggy grass that day and they still left the house immaculate) The final result is hands down the most beautiful installation of this type I’ve ever seen. I do not know what magic Walter used to get the seems on the long run to be invisible, but he did it! I absolutely recommend their level of craftsmanship and the experience of working with them-go forth and get yourself a gorgeous new countertop!

How far can a quartz counter top overhang the edge of a base cabinet and still support a person leaning on it? Would 6"-8" require some sort of frame?
