Amazing garage floors did a super job on our garage floor. The attention to details in preparing the cracks and the Spalding areas was outstanding. I love the finish. I'm a perfectionist and they met my standards. I highly recommend Is amazing garage floors.

Amazing floors did an epoxy coating for me in my garage. The floors came out amazing and John kept me updated along the way and helped me move some of my heavy items out of the garage before they got started. If you are looking to do an epoxy coating in your garage I would highly recommend. Very professional!

Questions & Answers

How do you prepare the concrete for your epoxy garage floor coating?

AmazingGarageFloors | Sep 22, 2018
Amazing Garage Floors-Kansas City | Sep 22, 2018

Diamond grinding with a planetary concrete grinder is the only method approved for Amazing Garage Floors epoxy floor system. Preparation of the concrete is essential for our epoxy primer and epoxy base coat adhesion. 30 grit diamonds are specified for our epoxy primer and epoxy base coat. Never let anyone install a garage floor that is going to acid etch or power wash your floor.

What colors are offered?

Unlimited color combinations are available. We generally present around a dozen standard colors that most clients choose from. Sometimes other colors are added to these standard colors. Sometimes we go straight to a custom color blend made exactly to the client specifications.

Is a primer applied in the floor with your process?

A primer coat is installed on every one of our applications as part of our process. The primer is to stop water from penetrating the garage floor slab and causing the epoxy coating to fail by peeling and delaminaing. Other processes do not include primers and some charge extra for primer or won’t guarantee their floors without a primer.

How is the concrete dust from grinding collected?

We have HEPA filters on our vacuums that meet or exceed OSHA standards for concrete dust collection. Dust drops from the filters into a continuous plastic bagging system so there is no airborne concrete dust which has been deemed hazardous to health, even causing lung cancer. It’s also nice not to have your garage and it’s contents not covered in a coat of fine dust. We have gotten the comment that “we can’t believe how clean you are” by a client that had previously chosen another company for their first epoxy garage floor.

How long have you been in business?

We began protecting concrete in 2006 and added Amazing Garage Floors epoxy Floor coatings in 2007.
