Greenwood sucks really. No service at all. No water hook ups. The beach is closed then opened then closed. They want you to use there facilities but the showers are the grossest the toilets are nasty sometimes no toliet paper I might as well go outside. Was the first time camping in a rv and will be the last time I return ever. Good luck so who ever don't wanna listen to reviews I'll have to laugh about you.

Clean respectful family park lots of fun. From soaking in the sand or taking a dip in the water. They even have some fun with three different types of boats. Fun for the whole family

One of the lesser known Parks in South Central New York. I’ve hiked these trails many times and have rarely seen another person. Check out the Pine Trail for a quiet moment. 🌲

This is a wonderful, well maintained park. Great beach and small lake, plenty of picnic tables, maintained grass, plenty of wide trails to hike/run, and nice facilities. Only wish it were closer to me and I'd be there all the time.

Yes. There are BBQ pits available too
Yeah for the most part.
Yes you can. No reservations are needed unless if you want a pavilion. Picnic tables and charcoal grills are everywhere and free to use
Admission and parking are free. One of the nicest parks for family enjoyment in the county.
Yes, it was drained. It looked like they were working on the overflow area. Crew has been gone now for a few months.
Yes, Canoes, Rowboats, Paddle boats, and kayaks. $5 per hour for canoe/rowboats or $20 per day and Kayaks and Paddle boats are $8 per hour no day rates. There is also a $20 deposit which you will get back once your rental is returned. Boat rentals are cash only
Dog are allowed in the park but they are not able to swim in the water. However at Dorchester Park there is swimming area for dogs just past the beach area on your right. Swimming is open at all Broome County Parks from 11:00am-7:30pm
I dont know, but you should call their number. They're very responsive. We saw some RVs roll in around 7pm.
Picnic tables are available and spaced the pavilions tables are spaced also.
Yes, from Memorial Day to Labor day unless thunderstorms or it's late and no one is at the park.

To camp it depends if you want tent or electric and water. Around $125 for 5 nights. Go to www.reserveamerica.com, search the park name and it will give you rates and you book online
Enforcement is usually around the dog being leashed at all times, if it's leashed no one is checking on shots and licenses.
I believe so as long as there is room. It can fill up pretty quick in the summer
Fishing is good up there and if you take nantikoke road another five miles there nantikoke lake which is also good
I would call and ask the park
Go in the main entrance and follow the signs. Our site was to the right.
We were told by park staff that there were no lifeguards available to work. Must be back to college time.
Yes you can..plenty of room got 2 tents , we do ot every time we camp there. they will complain about more than 2 cars per site..
No
You wouldn't know it if there actually were any in the vicinity.
- In the Fall of 2018 -
8 dollars per hour with a 10 dollar deposit.
