There are gorgeous views around every turn! Walking through the various areas where functions were held makes you sad that you couldn't attend the parties that had been hosted there. The signs that had information on them were great! I look forward to visiting again.

1.7 mile trail. Woods, cows, pond, stream. Not very crowded. You can hear yourself think ( if you want to ha ha)

We visited last weekend on a Sunday. It was our first time. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the loop trail. Great place to bring the kids or dog. Bathroom was clean.

Yes, 1.7 miles is accurate. The following link takes you to the website. I go there usually twice a day as I am a self-appointed guardian - along with other Friends of the Chinqua-Penn Walking Trail and the local Sheriff's Department - keeping an eye on things and picking up trash and discouraging those who seem to want to ignore certain rules (like the no wheels other than strollers and those who work there. It's an awesome, beautiful place. http://www.chinquapenntrail.org/
