Dr. Copening completed medical school at the University of Kansas and residency at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and specializes in Family Medicine. Dr. Copening is a retired major in the USAF and a Kansas native raised near Olathe. A past president of the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians, he strives to make a difference in the lives of patients by asking questions and truly listening.
