I've left 2 voicemails for Supervisor Kaitlynn to speak about the fact that I'm being told letters have been sent. Yet when I call days later another person says letter never sent. I find that concerning and even more concerning is when you try to contact a supervisor & they won't return your calls. Unprofessional & unacceptable! Will be contacting my congressman about this!
Oddjob
Nobody does there job!!!!

Horrible!! One mistake after another and lack of professionalism! I payed an overpayment from years ago. Was told it was paid off last year and now they are trying to collect again on the same issue. I filed for a fair hearing and now still waiting for a resolution while having to call for critical payments to which some of it is being applied to the old paid off overpayment which has also caused more outof pockets expenses due to the charges I'm getting from Bill collecting because most of my bills are auto pay!! Did I mention that I am also taking care of Mt 6 year old grandson!! Horrible!!!!

I called to ssa Geneva ny office. The call was accepted in minutes. The representative who was assisting me, Ms Ortiz was awesome: she did her best to make the needed changes so my mother who is 90 yo could have the home care she needs. I’m very grateful for Ms Ortiz’s kind help. Stay safe and thank you for your assistance!

According to the Form W-4V instructions: Note. For withholding on social security benefits, give or send the completed Form W-4V to your local Social Security Administration office. I would suggest keeping a copy for your records also.
No , but you may have to wait until your number is called. if you don't want to wait as long, yes make a appointment
Not on the spot but yes, they can get you a new card sent to you
You don't need to enroll in Medicare, but you will need to provide proof of your employer's insurance to prevent penalty charges when you do enroll. Keep in mind that you need to stop contributing to your HSA at least 6 months before enrolling in Medicare to prevent being charged a penalty for that. You cannot have an HSA when Medicare is your primary insurance.

When my Father inz-law went into the next world. All of his money that they gave him for that month. That he died in they took back. We told them that he spent some of it himself. They did not want to hear it. We all hade to give it all back. As far as that $500 death bed money. That is supposed to go to your Mom after her husband passes away. For you to get desth bed money to help out with the funeral. That is supposed to be only $250.00 and that is it. Good luck. You need it.
1 week to 10 days. It is so much easier to apply in person at the window. You need your old card & if you dont have 1 that is all-right. You also need your Birth Certificate = VIP plus 1 other form of Id. Drivers license works or non drivers ID card helps. You do need proof as to where you live. Something sent to you in the mail with your name on it works. Mail yourself an empty envelope works. We just got a new 1 for my husband. We hade to have the infermation with us. If you dont = no problem. You can go all the way back home & dont go back until you do get all of the information that they want. They dont care but you will leave kind of upset. Good Luck

Yes you can
Go down to the Geneva Social Security office and ask (yeah, not fun having to sit and wait so go early morning if you can). Unfortunately you cannot call the local office. If you applied at the office for a replacement, it should have taken 10 days (business days) for it to arrive. If it's been a calendar month then something is going on.
You'll need to directly contact Geneva Social Security office as this site isn't monitored by SocSec.
I did the sane for my wife 4xs and they still sent me a letter stating that she needs to appear at the office. I would just go, these guys at the office do not care about the hardship i had to pay uber 90$ bucks to take us and bring us back home cause my car was in the shop.
According to the SSA.gov website, once completed you can either mail it or take the form to your local Social Security office (or the office that requested it from you. Call the local office with questions. Hope this helps.
