No only SSD will allow for Child Dependent credit from The father's SSD monthly payments. So let's say the father gets $900 per month the paynent that the child credit would reflect a portion of the Father's SSD. Approximately $120 per month which is considered SSI payments for the child from the father's SSD. But you said the father receives SSI not SSD. Therefore no the child has no entitlement
