This was on my bucket list after watching an episode of "beyond oak island" and seeing the story about this. I wasn't disappointed, it is worth every penny to see the history and all the treasure! Thank you for making this every bit as exciting as I hoped it would be!

Sounds about right. If you or anyone you go with is a college student and has a college ID, the fee for entry is $12.50 I believe.

We just visited last week and there seemed to be lots of info in their gift shop. I'd definitely give them a call and confirm. The staff there was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The museum is self guided, we do have several guides in the museum to answer questions during your visit.
You would need to park that at union station, then jump the free shuttle to market square.
Yeah, the Hotel Indigo is awesome!!!!
Fast... when the tree pierce the hull initially it sank to the bottom of the river which wasn't all that deep in a few minutes(5 to 8 feet of water) ..... the next morning the only thing visible was the top of the Smoke Stacks. The river water needed a path around the boat and the easiest way was under it so the river buried the boat.

I don't remember the senior adult admission. Go to the website, it should be listed. Whatever it is, it is worth it. I want to go back. It is worth a second visit.
Reasonable price. There's also a market and BBQ restaurant outside the museum.
No, there is not parking for a large rig, but if you go very early on a weekend you may be able to find street parking in the downtown KC area near the convention center
Probably at least 2 hours. Depending on the interest level and attention span of your group it could definitely be more.

The first part of the tour is guided and involves a short film. After the film a family member will do a short question and answer session. After that is over there is another small section of display in which the guide tells you some facts and then the rest is self guided. The guided part of the tour is probably about 30-35 minutes. After that it is what you make of it.
