For a fall-ish day with wind and 56° sunshine, we loved it and so did our almost 2 year old. Had a picnic, played in the play ground and walked around the park. Can't wait to camp here this summer!

So beautiful especially in the fall. Watch out for the yellow jackets, but everything else was great. The lake is amazingly calm perfect for kayaks. A little disappointed that the fire ring was so tall you couldn't enjoy watching the fire, but it was safer for those who have little ones.

I'm at the park now. Full hook up not available. Showers are the cleanest I've ever seen. Dump station is right in your way out of the park. Park staff are super helpful.

Vandalia lake has a beach and swimming area open from noon till 6 PM everyday
Yes. There are camp sites with and without electricity hookups. Shower facilities are available at the site area with the electric hookups
