Closed during business hours. Tried calling and no one answered. Texted the phone number as it states on the website and no response. Wasted 40 minutes each way for a business that should be open.

Friendly guy and responsive. Delivery was quick and they stacked the wood. But he must not have the support he needs. I did not get seasoned oak as advertised as the wood was difficult to burn. Cannot use this wood this year. Will burn great next year. I get that they may be out of wood. Ok, say that so I can look for good wood at another place.

The guy on the phone was very friendly and having a half cord of seasoned oak delivered and stacked was easy and convenient. The price was a little steep but I thought it was worth it to save me the effort. Unfortunately, the wood was not all seasoned, nor all oak. We found that when we started burning this wood, it was difficult to keep the fire going. So we split some of the pieces and found them to be damp inside. It means we'll have to be careful to split and dry the next batch of wood by the fireplace before using. I say not all oak because the wood is all of different weights and appearance. While convenient, I think I'll go and pick out my own wood next time and pay a little less. I'm disappointed. I gave 3 stars purely for their friendliness. I'm attaching two photos to show the wood after splitting and the difference between the seasoned wood on bottom and the fresh cut on top that they delivered.

Firewood prices range pretty drastically based on the type of wood you get and where you get it from. We only sell aged Oak Firewood (We sell hickory, cherry, oak, pecan and apple for smoking), which is the best and most expensive wood you can get. Unless you get the small bundles at QuickTrip, that is actually the most expensive wood you can get. Our oak starts at $1 per log and goes to $350 for a whole cord (2019 prices). approx 2 cubic feet. They are the large onion bags. And when we buy them it says they hold 50 pounds. Generally wood sellers call that 2 cubic feet, but it is an inexact science.
1/2 cord is $250 which is generally a truck load.
$475 (2022) A cord of wood is more than will fit on a regular pickup truck. Our cord measures out 4 feet high by 16 feet long, and the width of our wood is 18 - 20 inches. A true cord, is often described as 4x4x8 or 4x2x16, but most fireplaces cannot accommodate 24 inch (2 feet) wood. So in Kansas City, most people sell firewood that is 18 to 20 inches. South of here in OK, AR and parts of the Ozarks, they cut wood 12-16 inches. So they get 3 rows of wood in a cord, (16 inches, 3 times equals 4 feet), so stacked out it would be 4 feet high by 24 feet long by the width of their wood which is 12-16 inches. To confuse everyone, people sell something called a "Face Cord" and a face cord is 4 feet high by 8 feet long by the width of the wood, which, if you are in KC, is generally 18-20 inches, but can sometimes be 12-16 inches. So a "face cord" is generally 1/2 of a cord of wood, but sometimes is less than that. Our measurements are 1 cord = 4'x16'x18"-20" 1/2 cord = 4'x8'x18"-20"
