My house came with two mailboxes, one on my house, one on my house. The streets side box was incredibly broken and in front of my neighbors house Someone helped me in removing the broken one,it was leaning, the front was broken off and there was an inch and a half gap along the entire right side where the side meets the bottom of the box, my mail was getting destroyed when it rained!! Sometimes my mail got delivered in one, sometimes the other one Now they are refusing to give me my mail because they say I have to have a special medical request to have them put my mail,in my mail box that is on my house ( was there when I bought the house!!!) There are three other houses with street side mail boxes, the other 10 have them on there house! But I was told it's a driving route because the mailman believes it to be a one way street ( IT'S NOT!!) At first the employee was aggressive and rude with me, now they are being robotic about it None of their logic makes Any sense!! SINCE WHEN IS IT OK TO TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS???? I just want my mail!! I'm going to be emailing the post master general, this is completely nonsensical!!

I have lived in zip code 64050 for less than 2 months. In that time I have had MULTIPLE packages either delivered to another address, or they have left the key to the parcel box in someone else's mailbox. Thankfully most everyone around here is honest. When I took a package I received the key to the parcel box for and took it down to my neighbors, they ended up having 4 packages of mine! This is simply unacceptable! It doesn't matter where I have lived it doesn't do any good to file a complaint with USPS.

I'm always getting other people's mail delivered to my address and I've tried so many times to get them to take it back and deliver it to the correct address and time and time again, it comes right back to me. They want to put up this 1800 number so you can't reach a real person to help you so you find yourself delivering the mail you received to the rightful owner yourself! This post office holds Noone accountable as this continues to happen time after time and it's frustrating to say the least. There's obviously no quality control or continuous improvement at this location. If you are looking to move to this area, look out! You may not get your mail or your mail may end up some place else.

My mail carrier, Dakota, had gone above and beyond to be sure my pkgs were hand delivered at my request. I live in an apartment building that doesn't have a secured location to leave pkgs. I put a note on my mailbox requesting that my doorbell be rang so I can meet them at door to receive my packages. One day he rang bell and I didn't hear it, my pkgs showed as being delivered I was worried, come Monday morning Dakota had everything that showed as delivered as well as the pkgs for that days delivery I was so thrilled he did an exceptional job and continues to fulfill the qualities of an exceptional mail carrier!!!

The house without a regular carrier may not be of a full route. In the post office there exist auxillary routes where the portion of houses do not add up to a full 8 hour route. Some routes have been cored and reconfigured that after the dust clears you end up with an auxillary route. Meaning a different CCA cases and carries thr auxillary and after finishing they go assist other carriers whose routes may be over burdened.
Gladstone and Grandview do walk-ins for passport appointments. If it is a renewal then you do not need an appointment and can go to any post office
Best way is to talk to the carrier. Also put a tag on your box listing last names of all people in the residence. Odds are it's being done on the regulars day off. Most regulars on a route for more than a year know their customers decently well. Also keep in mind the average route had around 500 households with usually 2-3 last names in each one. That's alot of names to remember and frankly impossible for anyone not super human.
I'm not sure why they do that but yeah I totally understand, it's extremely aggravating that you can't ever get a person
The englewood office does not conduct delivery service. All mail for zip codes 64050, 52, 53, 54, 56 and 58 is delivered from the main office on independence square
55 cents times 20 in a book is $11
Yes, there is a ramp to the front door which I believe has an automatic open switch.
No, unless you are shipping cigarettes or other products that have restrictions according to government laws/regulations.
We only do passport renewals. I believe that the Mid-Continent Public Library on 23rd Street by Chrysler does them.
It probably already did it was an extremely light mail day.
Then what about last Friday Saturday where is my mail from those days I get a check every week the company says they mailed them but have not received them explain that something is going on cause I am not recieving anything
Until all of the mail is delivered.
Because they need postal workers. The postal workers have to stay out until everything is delivered. Most are doing double routes.
Im not 100% on that but Im almost certain they would leave it in the mailbox. It would depend on if it was a PO Box, Apt. Mailbox or personal.
I went to the post office in Grandview. I got a pasport application in Independence filled it out and walked into the Grandview location on main and got the photo and all in less than 30 minutes. Read carefully on the application what your need to take with you and it is easy. The application and documentation is mailed in and the passport is returned separate from the documents. Easy.
