Thank you for you being there when I needed a place to stay, the Mission help me.And I I'm thankful that it's Christian Base. I met a lot of wonderful and nice young ladies there at the mission. I am so grateful to Mr and Mrs Mills and Mr and Mrs Cooper. 7:00 getting up and going to have scripture upstairs the very first no upstairs at the top floor I believe it was. I thank God for that ,I thank God for on Wednesdays we went to Bible study we had church on Sundays we went to church so I am really grateful that's Christian base and I pray that the young ladies will learn something while they there they will get their strength and makeup in their minds to do right. There was a lot of volunteers that came out and were truly a blessing to us on holidays and, and special around Christmas time it was truly a blessing and I just want to say thank you Durham Rescue Mission thank you and thank God for you and thank you that your doors are still open.

This place has alot of resources and community support behind it so for *some* people it's a wonderful place to get one's life straightened out and back on track. Unfortunately tho the Asst Men's Director, amongst others, are apparently corrupt-- an acquaintance of mine has actually managed to record certain high-level staff engaging in unethical/corrupt activities for $$ (not going to name names just yet). Anyways, he runs it like his personal fiefdom arbitrarily applying the rules; if he doesn't like you he'll find or manufacture a reason to get rid of you while at the same time looking the other way when it comes to his favorites (alot of favoritism at play). If all goes well soon there'll be an investigation. If ran fairly this would arguably be the best place of its kind in N.C but unfortunately there's a few people there who need to go for that to happen👍.

I was not as pleased with my interview process. The facility is awesome. Great place to stop in when in need of emergency assistance of sheltering. Thanks!😉

The staff acts godly. Bur they're a bunch of posers. What good they do for the public is a dog and pony show. They treat there residents with little or no respect or dignity..

If you're serious about changing your life , this is the place for you. The key is to surrender (humility). All you have to do is just come.

Why do you force people to quit their job upon arrival to the program when they are just looking for a place to stay while they are awaiting their first full paycheck?
