We stayed at the Garden Cottage for two nights after our wedding and loved Arrowhead ilInn. They were very accommodating on our late arrival and communicated regularly to see if we need anything. Definitely recommend the Honeymoon package. We would definitely stay here again! Beautiful and quiet grounds with cute touches in the rooms.

What an amazing destination! I surprised my wife with a staycation at the inn and it certainly did not disappoint. We were enamored as soon as we entered the grounds and certainly, genuinely impressed in the lobby. Our first impression of the room was that it was extremely quaint, well appointed, but incredibly spacious. We opted for a room with a double spa tub and outside veranda. Once we got settled in, we explored the grounds and the house itself. It's amazing how well this 200 plus year old home has held up and it was even more amazing to see the gardens and trees that must have been planted at the same time the house was built. Who would have known such a gem exists less than 15 minutes from our home. We can't say enough about the hospitality and will certainly be sneaking away in the near future. I couldn't recommend staying here enough. If you were even considering it, you should book it. You won't regret it!

A total "Wow" experience from beginning to end. If you love historical places, cozy comfort, delicious breakfast and not thinking about the daily grind - this is a spot you have to visit. We stayed in the Lipscomb room and it was so comfortable with an amazing bathroom and steam shower. Despite it being at full occupancy the house was still so quiet. The owners Ron and Stephanie are gems. We will definitely be back again soon.

We loved our stay at Arrowhead Inn. The home is beautifully restored and true to the period. The bed was comfy and cozy. The grounds are fabulous and we loved sitting around the fire pit. We were here in the winter, but I can only imagine what spring and fall would be with the mature trees and lovingly maintained garden. Breakfast was yum yum yum. Highly recommend.

Hello!! Please check the specific names as you typed them. Charles Mason, not Manson. The Mason family were prominent in Durham, NC with storing presence in local banking. They were the owner of our property up until 1932 when they were forced to sell during the Great Depression.
