Beautiful trails, easy parking and wide open fields. Love that it’s close to so much but still feels secluded in nature. A great park for small children and easy trails for walking.

No. But there is plenty of land for the kids to run around...a beautiful waterfall and several hiking trails.
In the parking lot
I think because it is a state park you have to have fires in the designated areas. They do provide the standard park grills. Hope this helps
Not in the park, unless you bring something, but McD's & Don Cecilios Mexican Restaurant, Handy Chinese & Subway are less than a mile down the street. Exiting the park and making a left onto Roxboro Road, go across the bridge and right before the lights and intersection of Latta Road (left) Infinity Road (right) you will see McD's, Don Cecilios, and Handy Chinese in the left in the shopping center and a little further down on the right you will see Subway. Good Luck and have a great day!! PS Currently, as of 09 March 2018, Little Cesars near Kroger is closed, that is why I did not put it down as a potential eat spot. Update 23 March 2018.. Little Caesar's is back, 11 am to 10pm Monday to Saturday 12pm - 9pm Sundays.
