Above 300lbs take it easy, closer to 400lbs beware. I am heavy and out of shape myself so trust me. Trail has lots of hills, rocks and roots to traverse. It's a mile walk in and a mile walk back out. But it is so worth it, especially to take a dip. Must be mindful of the steep edges into the water. Lots of shade though.

If you just type in Eno River Rock Quarry in your GPS it will take you to the parking lot. You have to walk from the parking lot to where you can swim

is the 5pm closing enforced?

No, but there's a ton of fishing on the river right next to it.
