CAREFUL, on the short rough trail to get down to bottom of falls, there's a yellowjacket nest under one of the rocks! Got stung three times before I realized what was happening. Took this pic.....and found a DIFFERENT way to get back up on the trail to avoid the yellowjackets!!

Maybe we just went at bad time, but the trail was awful. Not well marked in some areas, steep, and incredibly rocky. There were some spots where we, my wife (who's very fit & active as she's a soldier) literally had to almost crawl up & down the rocks. Seriously looked like maybe part of the mountain had collapsed. The falls were pretty from the top. We didn't make it to the bottom as we were afraid we (mostly I) wouldn't make it back up. Extremely disappointed with this hike. Just an FYI: no bathrooms, minimal cell service if any, & very crowded parking lot.

Always a good time and a far more private section of the overall trail. Greeters is the attraction but always gotta stop here first (I personally like doing the trail in reverse).
