Try pretty area. Nice for hikers and bikers. Father’s Day was busy. Many people, families, couples, young and old. I’d like to come back when it’s not so crowded, but still managed to capture a couple well-timed shots without too many people.

This is a very nice place. The waterfall, though underwhelming is still very nice. There's a gravel trail that I believe at on time was a railroad spur, goes around the preserve. There are plenty of smaller trails to explore. The BNSF tracks go along the southern boundary for the train fans. Believe I saw a crane (bird) last time. Just be sure not to pick a hot day to visit.

If you have kids, just take them here already! It's such a fun place for kids to have a splash in the water. The shorter hike to the waterfall is from the parking lot inside the park, but there's only space for around 8 cars maybe, but there's plenty of road side parking on old bluff road. A little bit of longer hike from there, which is what we prefer. This place is pretty crowded when the weather is nice and pleasant outside. We love visiting it any time of the year, the kids have so much fun playing by themselves or play with other kids who come there.
