Stunning!! Great place to stop and enjoy cool weather in the summer! As you walk down to the falls the temperature drops! The entrance fee is$10 and parking is good, but limited. The walk down to the falls is really easy and very close to the parking area. The falls loop is short, about 1.25 miles and it's super close to the PCT. We came here after visiting lassen, not that far off a drive. And just down the road is the Stand By Me bridge from the movie.

Beautiful place to see. You can even get into the water. The hike down was easy and if your up for it you can keep going to complete the loop.

Great stopping place for the family. Lots of picnic tables and plenty of shade. The falls are amazing! Young kids can easily make it to the bottom, .3 miles down and .3 back. There are two sets of stairs so strollers are difficult to do on this hike.

Burney Falls is absolutely so gorgeous it made my day! It's good to cool down from the sprinkles of shower and relax just sitting on the rock watching the water falls from it's natural beauty, seeing the wonders of God's creations and the beauty of His holiness. Praise the Lord! Come and experience it for yourself highly recommended it's my 1st time but it's my son n his wife 2nd time and we want to do the 3rd time and more time to refresh and hike from its wonder! Be blessed!

You can depending on the season. If its during july or August you can. Please note, the water comes from the melted snow so the wayer is pretty cold.

Short walk, wheelchairs wait at top with view. Path to base of falls bumpy with rocks for the daring to get close.

Somewhat, there are sections with stairs, another part of the path has somewhat sharp turns but I did it with my 2 year old in a smaller stroller no problem

How long is the hike to the falls? Sorry for all the questions

There are 3 hikes in total at Burney falls. 1, is about 10 minutes to get to the watetfall if you park in main parking. If there isn't any parking and you have to park by the lake it is about 15-20 minutes to hike down to the waterfall. After you see the waterfall you can hike down to a stream and that is also 15-20 minutes.

Yes, it's. I took my 3 year old last year and he did really well. Of course, some parts are uphill and others downhill, but if you walk slow they will be ok:)

I was there a couple weeks ago. I think it was $10. Definitely worth it if you haven't seen the falls.
