If you could leave a 0 start or negative I would. It’s The worst Rite Aid/Pharmacy Establishment. I’ve been affiliated with Rite Aid for at least 12 years, this one, maybe a year. They have the worst customer service. The most recent event was today I went to pick up my medications. She said that I couldn’t use the second drive through so I came back. When I came back she just handed me my medications but didn’t go over them with me (as a previous pharmacy tech- you go over the medications with the patient which allows them to know what they are receiving) I got to work and opened the plastic bag and noticed they gave me the wrong medication from what my doctor said I was prescribed. I called immediately and they said “we can’t return once it leaves the pharmacy due to covid” this is not pills, it’s a topical cream, unopened. As we batter back and forth about how the weren’t helping the customer on their mistake, the pharmacist said “we can take it back at my discretion if the box has not been tampered with.” So I will be there in the morning to find out how this plays out. But I also have received poor customer service and attitude from multiple other employees in the pharmacy, I had recently changed insurances about 6 months ago and had not received information for me to give them for my child who needed their antibiotics. And they rudely said it was my problem and they could not help me. When they have a system to look it up, as again, I worked as a pharmacy tech but for a better company who knows how to take care of their customers, clearly. I cannot wait for the transferring after tomorrow morning.
