The staff working at Club Champion are impeccable. I was greeted with a warm welcoming and professionalism down to the technical aspect of fitting my clubs to improve my overall game. Finding individuals who truly understand the fundamentals of Golf is difficult to find, but both Jesus and Bryon met up to my standards. I appreciate their service and knowledgeable substantially.

Very thorough, very knowledgeable, and the data clearly showed an improvement in carry, distance, spin, and ultimately accuracy in my irons and wedges. Jay did a fantastic job focusing on the numbers and working with me for two days. He was professional, friendly, and patient. Be prepared to hit a LOT of balls and to see results! If you have a budget in mind, be sure to clearly communicate that at the front end, as things added up quickly.

I’m speechless...Just hit my new M6 Dtype and Ping G410 3 wood. Wow. Zach went over and above to get my order sorted as I’m leaving out of the country next week. Thanks again Zach!

I went in for a driver fitting with Bryon Smith and from start to finish I was amazed with the facility, the resources, and the knowledge that Bryon had and shared with me. He was very friendly and listened to all the feedback I gave him and answered any and all the questions that I had. The hitting area was very roomie which was nice for someone like me that tends to feel crowded when hitting indoors it was much better than anywhere else I have hit inside. Bryon seemed to know pretty quickly what kind of shaft would give us the launch and spin combinations that we wanted and then it just came down to what my swing gelled with and what felt best. Ended up picking up a great shaft and head combination gaining yardage(with a slower swing speed from being tired) and tightening my dispersion. We also addressed my 3 wood that I voiced concerns with and came away with some incredible results with that as well. I placed my order and can’t wait to game these new clubs. I’m extremely optimistic about the improvements we were able to make and how they will transfer on course. I will never do another fitting for any club anywhere else again. My particular setup was fairly pricey but if you are serious about your game it is worth it. This just comes down to what you fit into as the prices in shafts are so different in pricing. I will recommend this company and location in particular to everyone I can. Thanks to Bryon again!

Questions & Answers

Does Club Champion sell used clubs or offer trade-ins?

Club Champion does not sell used clubs; we only offer the latest models available from over 60 golf brands. We work with 2nd Swing for trade-ins, and that process is handled online through our website; we do not take trade-ins in stores.

Is a Club Champion club fitting worth it?

Club Champion | Mar 24, 2022

If you are looking to improve your golf game, yes! A Club Champion club fitting is designed to help you meet your golf goals — whether it's more distance, better accuracy, fewer putts, etc. Our goal in every fitting is to find the best combination of components to help you lower your scores and play your best golf. If we are unable to find a combo that beats what you already have in the bag, we won't recommend any new purchases — the point is to play with the clubs that work the best for you. In particular, higher handicappers see the most improvement, though our fittings benefit every level of golfer.

What should I expect at a Club Champion club fitting?

Our club fittings are the most in-depth in the industry, with technology like TrackMan and SAM PuttLab at our disposal. You'll work with a Master Fitter to dial in your shaft and clubhead from over 50K hittable combinations -- this is done by setting a baseline with your gamer and using the club technology available today to find a combination that outperforms that baseline and meets your goals. Once we find the perfect fit for your unique swing using data like smash factor, carry, and more, we'll walk you through the recommended clubs, prices, and options available to order a hand-built set to match what you hit in our fitting bays. We do the same with putter fittings, using SAM PuttLab technology to find the best option for your short game.

Hello, my name is Bill Fay. Last Fed., I got fitted for a new set of Mizuno irons. I like them. What was the other manufacturer that you recommended from my fitting ? I am thinking of ordering just a couple irons to try them our so I can compare.

Hi Bill, you should reach out to your fitter or the store directly for info on a previous fitting.

after fitting, assuming I have club champion construct my clubs, how long does it take to put together a full set?

Hello, Robert The average turnaround time for custom builds is 5-7 weeks.

What is the average cost for a set of iron fitting

Dan Kerr | Sep 20, 2020
Cassie Bausch | Sep 20, 2020

Hi Dan, Club Champion team member here. The fitting itself costs $150; in terms of the equipment, it's nearly impossible to give an estimate since all of our clubs/sets are custom. You could end up fitted into a stock OEM set, which would be the same cost as any other retailer; you could end up in a mixed set from different manufacturers with aftermarket shafts; you could choose to add performance upgrades like SST PURE, etc. The best way I can help you ballpark is to let you know that the clubheads are the same cost as other retailers (i.e. if an iron head is $80 from Titleist, the head will be that cost from us). It's worth noting that our fitters will work within a budget if you set those expectations at the beginning of the appointment, so don't be shy about discussing costs.
