My last visit was officially THE last visit to this ulta.. i went in to pick up a setting spray and was immediately discriminated. I can’t remember her name but she was tall skinny and had a big nose, but she had called security because “its ultas policy”. All i went in for was a setting spray and ended up leaving with nothing, you need to retrain your employees to not discriminate, if it was because i was wearing sweats and a shirt i didnt know ulta has a dress code or i needed to be a specific social class to properly shop there. My wife and I shop quite a bit at the higher end cosmetic/fragrance stores - Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Sephora.. and also enjoy shopping at Ulta to see what new stuff they have in. Just not this Ulta ever again. Every single time we've visited this specific location has been a disgusting mess and filled with rude employees (and managers). Whether it's the fragrance section littered with used tissues on the shelves, floor and displays (because they don't want to put out paper strips to test fragrances), or a manager not wanting to honor a valid coupon (even after verifying that it was applicable to fragrance and prestige items), or just general employees hovering over your shoulder while you're browsing, giving you a "did I scare you?" When you turn around. I went in with plans to drop $230 on a new Tom Ford fragrance release, only to find them being incredibly rude to my wife while she was looking at the higher end designer brand makeup. This isn't a high-end store. We have a long history of purchases and even an Ulta credit card. It makes sense that this location is sandwiched next to Ross and TJ Maxx since that's the type of experience you get from this store, except the others are probably a bit cleaner. Maybe pick up the napkins littering the fragrance displays (since it's kind of nasty, with Covid and all) rather than trying to be funny and stalking customers. Let the security guard handle that part.
