Having saved Norman Rockwell’s original studio and moving it to the new location the added $5 tour was completely worth it. The museum has a complete set of covers he painted for the magazine. In addition to rotating exhibits, it has a vast collection of original paintings to marvel at the details of Rockwell’s paintings.

A beautiful sunny summer day relaxing enjoying the beautiful artwork of our own American artist, Norman Rockwell. Along with featured artists, the afternoon was fascinating and educational. Lunch on the terrace was perfect! Nestled in the Berkshires, you listen to the songs of birds and the occasional lone whistle of a passing train. I took home a cute souvenir from their well-stocked gift shop. Enjoy!

A wonderful place to see the work and learn about the life of an American treasure. His last studio has been moved to the museum site and the knowledgeable staff does an excellent job describing the space and the artist. The grounds are very well kept and great to explore.

A nice museum, with some good informative videos on bits of Norman's. A nice walk around the grounds brings you to the river and his studio. I would recommend if you're in the area and need something to do for an hour or two

You would have to call the museum setup a appointment to meet with the curator. He or she would probably be the best person to answer your question. It's a beautiful museum and I'm sure you would enjoy it as we did
Here's a link to our online store where we sell the Four Freedoms posters: https://store.nrm.org/tag/product/list/tagId/3/ Thanks for your inquiry! NRM
Yes, believe it is 20$.Well worth the amount,Take your time and enjoy it all, the grounds are beautiful also.
Most of the BSA work that Rockwell did are displayed in the Boy Scout's museum in Irvine Texas. NRM has some works, in fact two are currently on display in the main galleries.
Yes but take a trip there the gallery and the gift shop are full of great paintings and gifts
The Museum is closed on Christmas and New Year's Day but open all the days inbetween
There are hotels in the area. It only takes a few hours to view the entire museum. Not sure if there is transportation to the museum?
I know the next exhibit is dragons but not sure when it switches.
Find an art appraiser
You can look it up on Google Maps. Put in both locations and it will tell you. 13 miles, 25 minutes
Artist who is famous for his Saturday Evening Post cover page paintings
There are automatic doors in the Museum it self. However for Norman Rockwell studio that has been moved to the property there are none in that building
Purchase . . Personally, I doubt it. It's on the property that Norman Rockwell owned, and it displays his original work. If it is an original Rockwell, then possibly.
Hi Gene, Here's the link on what steps are needed to use any Norman Rockwell images: https://www.nrm.org/collections-2/image-resources/ Thanks, Laura
Absolutely! Here's a link to our online store: https://store.nrm.org/ Thanks for contacting Norman Rockwell Museum.
I think you should contact the museum directly with this question 😊
Go to website and select collections button. Type in a brief description of the print you are looking for. More information will be displayed on the print in question. There are many prints and paintings in private collections...not at Museum.
Hello. I'm currently an intern at the museum. The museum also has begun a braille initiative where blind people can read the braille that describes various paintings within the museum. You can ask Visitor Services or the Admissions desk people to use the binder with the braille.
Yep, as others have said, check with the museum and eBay too!
Your question is not very specific. What do you need to know? I did google it. There is a lot of information on the web. However, calling the museum and having someone knowledgeable to speak with may be a good start. Good luck.
Yes, you can take pictures as long as there's no flash. There will be no photography allowed for our upcoming summer and fall special exhibit, Parrish, Wyeth, Rockwell, & the Narrative Tradition. Thank you!
Hello! I had the pleasure of visiting the museum back in January, and I know they did display at least one of the paintings with the scouts. Also a few times a year they have the models Rockwell used come as guest speakers to the museum and speak about their experience. I thought that was such a great idea to incorporate into their guided tour. It was very informative and enjoyable. Maybe you would be interested in doing that?! Add a little more to the history 🙂 I know I didn't completely answer your question but thought you may be interested in doing something like that 🙂
Yes all is paved!
There is always someone there that can look at any article or painting. But depending on what you want to learn from your visit, the right person may or may not be there.
I would call the museum and make a appointment to show the painting to a consultant
I brother lives a mile away from the museum & says it's open year around..I visited it last May it was wonderful but small.
Make appointment with the museum
