So disappointed, been staying at this hotel for years with great customer service and good food. My last stay, I stood by myself waiting to check in. No one acknowledged me. There were four gals at the coffee shop and one gal in the office on the right. A worker came in from a break and had to find a person to assist me. She asked the gals at the coffee shop and none of them wanted to assist. She ran around trying to fi d someone for 10 minutes. Finally after a gal from the coffee shop made her coffee, she then came over to assist me. Today, I stood at the check in counter while one worker was on the phone assisting another customer and the second worker Jayce (I believe) did not acknowledged me and just looked down at paperwork. I stood there for approximately five minutes until finally Jayce asked me "Do you need something?" Great customer service for sure. I asked to check in and she simply said, "there are no rooms available." Again great customer service. I thought my first bad experience was a fluke, but now I'm thinking it just may be the hotels new way of business. Too bad, I think I need to find a new place to stay when working in Susanville.

We went to the Grill for prime rib. We ordered both medium, and one came out fine, the other was like beef jerky. My husband tried to eat it, but it was just too tough and overdone. (honestly, it looked like it had been reheated in a microwave) we asked the waitress to replace it. She told us the manager refused, because we had 'eaten some of it' (there was 3/4 of it left). We asked to speak to the manager, who came out and argued with us some more about replacing the meat, then required us to send it back so the chef 'could see it'.........finally they replaced the piece of meat, but after the rest of our meal was cold and inedible. Very poor customer service, and we would not recommend this place at all. With the price of eating out, throwing away a 23$ piece of prime rib seems like a real waste of money. We did box up the meat, but I would not have eaten it, as the surface seemed to have a slimy substance on it, and looked highly questionable.

Really liked this place. Not super fancy, but clean and well maintained. The restaurant made one of the best prime rib dinners I've ever had! The Tesla supercharger is what brought me, but I'd stay again even without a Tesla
