The whole light house experience was good. They will take you to light house by yacht. You will have good view along the ride with good views of backyards. Then you reach the lighthouse at beach which has amazing views. They do not allow open footwear to enter lighthouse. When you are at the top you have a great view of the ocean and the city. The yacht is scheduled to take people every hour. The last ride to light house will be at 3 PM. So we can’t visit this place in evening, so plan ahead.

It’s in a private gated neighborhood. No road access.

You cannot bring a dog to the beach. But, I have seen people bring dogs to the jeti which is the far part i dont see a problem with but pick up your dog poop and do Not let your dog poop in water officials will try to shut down beach
Yes, the public is allowed to go inside the lighthouse. The Hillsboro Lighthouse Preservation Society schedules several times a year a tour of the lighthouse.
Parking accessible after checking with gate guard, Gate guard is ar first right hand turn after hillsboro bridge when going north bound on A1A.
Yes if you get approved
It has a great history but nothing too spooky.
Hi Stephanie, the only way you can access the lighthouse is through a tour, as the lighthouse sits on private property. If you aren't able to attend one of our tours (visit our web site for 2022 tour dates) the best place to view the lighthouse is from Hillsboro Inlet Park on A1A, south of the Hillsboro Inlet bridge.
Yes,
Hi Ricardo, there are no public tennis courts at the Hillsboro Lighthouse.
I second the motion!
This is a public forum. Your best bet is to call the city of Lighthouse Point and find out how to contact the caretaker for the lighthouse. Good luck
"The post" office right by the bagel shop. Lisa sales a bunch if different ones
I don't believe the beach is closed at night but it would be very hard to navigate there alot of rocks and jetties.
The boat ride is wheelchair accessible as well as other parts of the lighthouse grounds but not the lighthouse itself.
Hi Linda, on tour days we have gifts for sale on the lighthouse grounds. You can also stop by the museum (www.hillsborolighthouse.org/museum) for items on non-tour days.
Probably not, based on the rules, but, while I was there I noticed 2 drones, one fly by and another circling the light house. Having and enjoying a drone, you'd violate the rules of flying above people, aside of the rules of the park (unknown is they allow drones in the park). Be responsible, and if you have to fly it responsibly. Join AMA (www.modelaircraft.org). For few $ you can be a member and provide you with 5 million insurance in case something goes wrong and in the unlikely event that you hurt someone. You'd feel a lot more comfortable flying around people...
?????? You mean 2018 you need to register on line for a tour..
