Great park. Fun for all ages and all activities. Great parking and amenities. Covered tables. Access to garbage cans and bathrooms. Large playground equipment

Love that it's a bit more tucked away so that way it's not right next to a busy dangerous main road. They also have a lot of room to run and play with your dog(s) the number 1 feature to me as a dog owner is the ground level drinkin fountain. They also have a very basic water feature (still near), huge trails and a full soccer field, tennis court, basketball court, bathrooms, pavilions, and 2 separate playground areas. There are always dogs everywhere ❤️.

Walked the dog there at night. Seems like a happy place even at the late hour of 1030pm as there were a few people out walking and sitting on the park benches talking and laughing.

I was wanting to have my sons birthday here. He’s turning 3 it’s gonna be a gathering basically with cupcakes maybe pizza and a few decorations. Do I have to make a reservation or can I just show up?

Andrea Hasebroock | Sep 21, 2019

If you want to have shelter all to yourself for a big party then I would recommend reserving it through the park service's. But if you just want to have a picnic table or two from the the tables at the shelter then you do not have to reserve. If you want to know for certain that you will have tables then it's always best to reserve. But there are plenty of tables in the shelter as well as on the outside of the shelter.
