Does attending em nurse Practitioner have the right to refuse blood work on patient & prescribe e steroid medications from just outward o servance

This is a difficult question to answer without all the pertinent facts and medical records. I can tell you that generally a family nurse practitioner can legally prescribe medications as they deem fit. Whether or not the prescription is the proper one is another matter. If the patient has adverse reactions that could or should have been prevented had the medical provider acted within the appropriate standard of care, there could be a medical malpractice claim dependent upon the severity of injury. I hope that the patient you are referring to is ok and that there are no adverse reactions. If so, there would be no claim. However, if you are concerned that the medical provider's actions were not appropriate, it is best to report your concerns to hospital administration.
