Good walking trails, both in open fields and wooded walking trails as well -- though it does have quite a bit of pollution. It would be wonderful if it was cleaned a bit more often. Picnic shelters make it a good spot to have some lunch and spend an afternoon.

They could do much more at the sports complex but sadly they don't. How about a Food Truck Rodeo out there?? It's a great place to walk and many people do. The new NCDMV is going in across the street. Tennis courts are out at Sunset Park and we have some here at Hornbeam Park where we live.

Nearest hotels are a few minutes away off NC64 and Winstead Rd. It is a cluster of good name brand hotels
