We did a full day. Had fun, but wish it was better. Almost 3 hours traveled in the water to fish, fished a few spots, then traveled 3 hours back.. Would have Iiked to actually fish more, but I guess they were trying to get us to "good" spots. They were short staffed so everything felt rushed, and they wouldn't take the time to take your picture with the fish. I know that may sound bumb, but for people that don't get to go fishing like this often it's kind of a big deal. They did take the time to pass around their tip buckets though, multiple times, and stressed that was their only source of income.... Also annoying that the captain let's their friends on the boat that take the better spots on the boats, chain smokes the ENTIRE time, and brags that he gets to be there for free as long as he helps some, but he fished 99.7% of the time. I mean.. I helped the dude beside me several times... my trip wasn't free... We were told no food was allowed and we had to buy from the galley.. Well apparently we were the only ones told that.. Everyone else had food/snacks they brought on the boat. The galley food was fine, but would've preferred to save the money and brought our own stuff. Once off the boat, you get herded with your fish to be weighed for cleaning, then you take it, pay for it and wait.. Well the lady gave us the option to pick up our cleaned fish the following morning. She said we can go straight to the cooler and they'd be cleaned and ready. That didn't happen, guess they had one to many beers and forgot. (They were openly drinking when we left the fish with them.) Luckily I checked before we left and the fish had not been cleaned... Doug saved the day. He was getting another boat ready and took the time out to clean our fish to make it right. I don't not recommend them, we just got them on a off day I suppose.

Great operation! Been going for years and never disappoints. Super professional crew and the captain works hard day in and day out to put us on the fish. Best opportunity to get out to the blue water without spending a couple grand on a charter. Our last trip we even were lucky enough to get on a sailfish!

There was only a little bit of rain that wouldn’t hurt anyone but they made us leave cause of it like why

The best head boat and captain on the whole east coast!

I think you can bring as many as you want, within reason... but they only allow you to have one at the rail with you while fishing.
Agreed, your best bet is to make a reservation before last minute to because believe it or not the boat fills up fast. I've been here multiple times it's always a blast. I hope you get to go!
You can take a cooler with snacks and drinks. I don't think alcohol is allowed and if your not used to be on a boat you will not want it. 😁
Off and on rain but other than a little light rain here and there weather good
Cost for trip is 100.00 nonrefundable
Yes! Capt. Stacy was started over 60 years ago in the early 1960s by Captain Sonny and his wife Joyce Davis. Capt. Sonny, his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren and (hopefully) great-grandchildren are still actively involved in the business.

We were on a 34' charter boat. There were 4 of us. We took one 48 qt cooler for our combined drinks and a bag with our snacks. The only boat that sells drinks and food is the big head boat.
Sandra, they've got fully functioning air conditioning inside so you can get out of the heat as much as needed. My father had to sit inside a few different times.
You can bring as many rods as you like. But, you're allowed to use 1 rod at a time. Any extra rods have to be stored on the upper deck until you're ready to switch out.
I fish in the cold but Captain Stacy takes his boat out of the water and it won't be back in until spring
