Brown Dog is an interesting design. During the summer, Most of the seating was outside. The place was in a disarray. They had people. They need better organization. The seating was quick and the host brought warm water. Apparttenly, they had perpored water and they never checked if ice melted in the water. I had to wait awhile for a server to come. A few other times I had to wait. I placed my drink and food order at the same time. The Food actually beat the drink coming out. The server was shocked too. For the most part, they used technology for menus, ordering and payments. I would like to question the stability of the system since the waitress switched tablets to pay. After it finally came, the drink was decent. I questioned the pricing. The dehydrated orange was okay and unusual. It had a decent blood orange flavor. After waiting for the ice cream, It was decent. I like the taste of Irish cream. It was good but I could not see anything butterscotch ribbon that it was supposed to have. The tacos were okay. They were nothing memorable. The fish was very well cooked. The slaw was decent but you could not really taste any of the pineapple. Overall, I stayed away from some of the items because of the pricing. Only If I was in the area, I would try another ice cream flavor but nothing else. In the end, it was nothing really special.

I was super excited to come here due to many positive comments I have heard. Being in Northville, I figured the place would've been nicer and more attentive. Food was not good, you could get a better burger at Basement Burger Bar for cheaper. The fries were okay. Some were hard with a crunch, and some were soft which kind of tripped off my taste buds. The person waiting on us was very stand offish. Kind of just stared while I looked over the menu. (It was my first time here so I didn't know about anything they had besides the alcohol milkshakes and pouches.) And didn't ask if we needed anything. (Like ketchup for our burger and fries) The only positive thing was the alcoholic shake I got. It was pretty good, but nothing out of the world. Really bummed out how this experience turned out.

I want to start by saying phenomenal service by the bartender Woodrow, honestly best service my husband and I have experienced. I’ve been to browndog twice now, once for dinner and another for brunch, and both time have been amazing. Some …

Outdoor seating was really well done. Plenty of workers running food and drinks, yet our server didn’t do much. All of the fried items were really greasy and didn’t taste good (fries, fish, chicken); not sure if the oil was old cause …

I can't promise you won't have a long wait. However typically this time of year the wait doesn't get too long.
Yes. They have kid-friendly options. When I was there, children were there. The atmosphere might be a little boring if the kids need entertainment, though.
