The labor officials here are especially caring, thank you 🙏. I had a zoom meeting on 3/2/2022 and I came here because I don't speak English and I can't use my phone to do a zoom meeting, the staff helped me a lot, especially Carla and my hearing officer Ms Clemons, they His integrity and kindness moved me and made me feel down-to-earth. I believe that labor laws are fair and will give me justice. Thank you to all the staff.

This place won't help you they will make you spend your time here waiting..Taking time off constantly, and won't even help you fill out the forms correctly...

They care less about you than the shady employer who ripped you off does. I get no support, no returned calls. When I email it takes forever for a response and when I finally get one it’s my rude rep with a sarcastic email that tell me to withdraw and pay to go to court myself! They took two months to get back to me then sent me a response from my previous employer and told me I had 10 days to respond or it was going to get tossed out (didn’t even get it till 4 days after it was sent and it was a Saturday). I have questions about my rights and the inaccurate BS on that response but no one her gives a damn. They treat the victim as the villain. Sad that this happens in SF smh

Hello Theresa - You will need to contact your local Labor Commissioner's Office for more information on filing a wage claim. A list of their locations with contact information can be found here: https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/DistrictOffices.htm. Here is another link to our website that explains the wage claim process: https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/HowToFileWageClaim.htm.

No breaks. 7-11 denied me breaks as an overnight employee. Can the commission help me?
