Check-in was quick and easy. The room itself was as expected, except the bed which was hands-down the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Seriously. One odd thing for the room was that the air conditioner blew directly across the desk chair, so anytime I wanted to drop the temperature in the room, I was met with the frigid air of the arctic. Breakfast was fine, with hot dishes rotated over the course of the week. There was always plenty of food and coffee, the latter of which was still available at the end of the day.

The online reservation is easy to make. The room was clean and comfortable, though I wish there were non-feather pillows as I have an allergy to feathers. Breakfast options could have been better, but I found enough to eat even if it wasn't what I wanted.

I stayed here Aug 2018 and it was great. I stayed April 2022 and it was dirty. When I got to the room there was no shampoo, soap, etc. in the bathroom and I saw a two cleaning ladies in the hall. One spoke no English and the other was from Cuba and spoke a little. They gave me soap and filled up the shampoo dispenser in the room and then they disappeared. I discovered later that the floor by the bed had nacho chips on it and needed to be vacuumed and that the beds (double room with 2 beds) the beds, neither of them had a top sheet. I told the front desk the next morning about the beds and the nachos on the floor and was told they would take care of it. I went to the Ark Adventure all day and returned about 8pm to a room that looked the same as when I left at 7am. No sheet, no vacuum, no towels. I went to the front desk and they apologized and gave me a towel and said housekeeping was gone for the day but would take care of it the next day. They didn't. I stayed 3 nights and nobody did anything but make promises. The breakfast was great on Thursday, not so great on Friday or Saturday. Would I stay again?j That's a good Question and one I will debate on if I go back to Louisville.

Nice friendly staff. Breakfast was outstanding with many delicious items to choose from. Room was clean, cozy and quiet. Hotel decor was very appealing and there was plenty of seating options throughout the lobby area. Would definitely return for another visit.
