Where do I start? I was broken when I got to New Hope. They saved my life. The way they personalized my recovery was amazing. I've never looked so deep inside myself. I was able to let go of a lot of things that caused me to drink. The counselors and the other clients helped me a lot. They do keep you busy, which I didn't mind. I took the 62 days there to get better and learn how to live with this disease. The food is great, Scott is amazing. You definitely don't go hungry. The rooms are very simple, but you don't spend a lot of time in them. Molly the nurse is so caring. She takes great care of you. I feel all the staff takes pride in the care they give. During Covid we were not able to go to meetings but we did on-line meetings. They did the best they could with the circumstances. I have made great life long friends. We get together monthly. I do have to give a huge shout out to one special counselor, Daniel. He changed my life forever. He helped me confront things I didn't want to and got me through it. He also taught me to Salsa dance. He has the best exercise classes. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to New Hope. Just remember, you get out of it, what you put into it.
