Borrego Canyon Trail to Red Rock Canyon is a 4.1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Foothill Ranch, California. It leads to a red rock canyon that is reminiscent of canyons in Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. It also features beautiful wild flowers, beautiful vistas, beautiful landscapes, and Creek water crossings. It is a good Trail for all skill levels and offers a lot of variety of nature. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Horses are also able to use this trail. Length 4.1 mi Elevation gain 452 ft Route type Out & back

Wonderful place to walk, bike. Parking $3 until sunset but one we used is pretty small so not sure it is always available.

You would never guess this is tucked away among the shopping centers. Great mix of exposed and shady areas. Parking lot is tiny, and we noticed a lot of people parking across the street and walking over.

I guess the Whiting Ranch trails are all closed after the fires. There was a good amount of destruction inside and they need to rebuild those.
