A must-visit for out of towners. Make sure you make it to the back room when there's a piano guy! The downside is that it is very touristy and they don't have any local beers at all. Also their shtick is that there's no electricity but somehow they have running icee machines...?

My favorite bar in the Quarter!!! History and great vibe.

No, but im sure there were some demons expelled in that hellish bathroom. Edit: I was just there a couple of weeks ago. I can now say it has been updated and all the demons are gone! But if you put your ear up to the tile you might still hear the sound of a banshee's scream coming from the depths of hell... or it could have been the ladies room. Lol Great update to the restrooms Lafitte's!
As a lone single woman, I felt very comfortable No pressure from anyone
How many have you had?
It's the oldest building that currently operates as a bar
Casual. No dress code at all
Its a bar. No children allowed. But if your kids are grown, your family will have an amazing time
Pretty sure that as long as the bar is open they serve alchohol. I also dont believe there's a curfew on serving alcohol in the French Quarter.
Of course they are open!
Yes

I am sure you can get juice, soda and bottled water
No admission when I went there. A daiquiri was $9.00. Beers and shots seemed live average prices for the area.
They have a band on stage but I'm sure it's just local artists. Which is cool, but I couldn't tell you who was there the night I was there.
21 only to be sure. No food there.. No possible reason for a minor to be inside. Lax enforcement maybe but definitely risk of a fine.
Must not have lived in Oklahoma too long if you never mixed up Cowboy KoolAid!
