Nice little bar, servers paying more attention to their phone than to the guest, however, I got a second beer finally. Place is small, not a lot of room. Ice scoop and a bottle of something left on top of ice in the well. Place needs a good high dusting. Not sure what's up with all the business cards, but, I bet there is a beautiful wall behind them screaming to be seen, or maybe there is no wall. In closing, I wouldn't order anything but pre bottled and/or canned stuff.

Great atmosphere and unique drinks. Bartenders were not honest about there being a courtyard for a member of our party to smoke on while we had our drinks, another staff member overheard us ask, led us to it, and let us out (it is equipped for smokers) but when we tried to leave we had been locked in the courtyard and couldn't get out. Other customers found us and let us out. Not ideal, but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Good absinthe options. Well worth trying if you want to experience absinthe with sugar and all the process. Could take a bit more time to dissolve the sugar, but it's a bar on bourbon, so they are busy. Had old skool 90s grunge on when we were in, so expect an alternative sound. Small place, but wasn't too crowded for a Friday night.

Definitely a good time. Bourbon Street was under construction when I was there last too but almost everything was still open.
They have 10 or 12 different brands! Some ever distilled I'm New Orleans
I don't think so.
Hi There! If we have all the ingredients--and for this particular cocktail it looks like we do--we can definitely make your favorite cocktail.
Yeah, it's the real deal. It's been legalized for years. Don't expect to see the green fairy or anything, just a strong liquor that tastes like black licorice. Most places, including this one, have good presentation.
Just across the street there is a courtyard that has jazz every night. There is always live music around, just not AT the absinthe house
