One of the best sandwich shops in Portland Oregon. A group of ex-coworker try to hookup when a now an out-of-state colleague visits family. We met at the Hawthorne location near Ladd's Addition where parking can be a challenge. We sat outside with a nice breeze to keep us comfortable. This location is okay for small groups, but their seating is tight and the tables are bolted down so it's not ideal for groups greater than four. The sandwiches are generous in size and quality. Pictured is the Bronx Bomber, sans pickled peppers, and their herb and parmesan fries. As stated, their portions are generous, we all took home leftovers. They offer delicious cocktails all made to order. I had the watermelon margarita which was two thumbs up! They offer adult slushes, local ales and wines, and non-alcohol options include soft drinks, lemonade and, ice tea. Lunchtime is busy, we waited about 25 minutes for our food, the staff is friendly and polite considering how many orders they had to serve. It's a bit pricey for casual dining, my sandwich and margarita was $25 plus tip. Definitely recommend Lardo for special occasions when you want a casual and quality meal with dear friends or family.

Fantastic chicken sandwich. Spot has a great atmosphere with some great music. Only 4 stars because the fries were kinda overkilled with salt

Came here ordered the chefwich and the dirty fries. It was so good!!! We came in at 13:00 it was kind of sad, that most of the Cubanos and classic sandwich are all sold out. But we were able to grab the awesome chef recommendations, and the dirty fries!!! Love the dirty fries , the pork was so crisp and flavorful.

Freaking amazing sandwiches. My "no meatball sub" (vegetarian meatballs with cheese and tomato soup on the side) was gloriously filling, messy, and soul satisfying. The Nashville hot chicken was also no joke, being a very tall and very …
