Stayed here through AirBNB for one night. We rented the bunk room with 7 beds for a family of five. The stay was fine. The top bunk beds were too hot in the summer. We unfortunately left an item at this lodging. We swung by four days later to pick it up but had a horrible experience with the manager. We were initially told he would be the one to help get into the lost and found and that he would be arriving in 15 min so we got coffee at their cafe and intended to wait. While waiting we went to the restroom. I went upstairs as the bottom restroom was busy. When I came down the stairs, the manager initially thought I had been a guest in the adjacent room to the bathroom upstairs. He then proceeded to be rude and condescending about me using the upstairs room. The conversation was awkward given his tone and irritated mood. We ultimately got our item and we’re trying to leave but I felt the need to explain to him in person how rude he had been. I went back to speak to him. After a strained conversation, where he was again accusatory and condescending, he apologized for being rude and I apologized for using a restroom closed off to other guests and the public. We will not be staying here again.

I really love this location, it’s so close to everything, the trails, lakes and waterfalls. It has been a great stop on our photography trips. Their Heritage coffee is amazing! The staff was so friendly and kind, helping my girlfriend and I find a fun trail to heart lake. Priceless. The no longer sell heritage coffee. They sell a much lower quality coffee.

This is the best place to be if you enjoy the outdoors and tend to come back in the evening a bit dirty! They have you covered with tile floors and a huge variety of gear storage. Clean and cozy, it’s easily one of my favorite stays! My dad and I work in forestry and appreciate the outdoor mindfulness of Loge! The staff is incredible. Make sure you check out the cafe for a delicious croissant and coffee!
