Today I had taken my boyfriend to the ER he was complaining of back pain to the point where he couldn’t breathe and everything. They have given him IV fluids which was okay because maybe he was dehydrated but next is the medicine that they was given him with steroids in it but before putting that in his IV they didn’t mentioned the kind of medicine and what’s the side effects of it so my boyfriend had mentioned he was about to go out of it and was seeing double and the nurse that was giving him the medicine in his IV either didn’t hear him or just regard it so 10-15 minutes after that he was acting kinda strange like his arms was up and he was looking at it funny and he couldn’t breathe at all it was so scary that i was going to cry because he has never reacted like that to any medicine that’s given in his IV, next was the lockjaw so went and told the nurse that he was having a lockjaw to where he couldn’t open his mouth. Long short I’m still traumatized and worried from his reaction to the medicine that was the most scary thing I ever witnessed.
