This store highlight the differences between local owned store and the big box retailers. The staff here are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and more than willing to work with you personally to help with your project. My wife spent years trying to teach herself to knit from books and videos until we came here. The staff have been a tremendously encouraging and helpful.

Camantha is so helpful and the shop is well-stocked! I feel lucky to live near a beautiful shop like this. I’ll never shop at Michael’s again for my yarn needs.

I love this shop, warm and inviting. Camantha is so helpful in finding just the right pattern and yarn. Hickory is lucky to have Wildskeins.

Wildskeins adheres to all NC mandated requirements. Thank you for your inquiry.

I have just started back to knitting and have various sizes and lengths of yarn leftovers. I would like to practice using some of them but don't know how much yarn is left on the skeins... what's the best way to determine this?

If you have the ball band, look for the oz/grams. Then look for the yards/meters. Devide to determine the inches/feet per once. Weigh the remaining yarn. Multiply by the inch/foot per ounce to get the remaining length.
