I've ordered parts from BMI several times but never needed assistance before today, I had only ordered from their website. This time I had to build a whole new rear axle assembly for my Yerf-Dog. The original had basically rusted into a single solid component. It simply wasn't possible to remove the wheels. I spoke to two different representatives. The first one gave me lots of advice, which led to me going back and confirming several questions she had and even to removing and cutting the axle so I could determine if I could salvage the sprocket (I couldn't). The second walked me through getting all the part numbers I needed to build a complete axle assembly. They were both knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. All the parts were available and I've ordered everything I need to get this kart back up and running. The people are fantastic and they seem to have made a real commitment to helping us keep these old Dogs running.

Ordered parts on a Wednesday because I needed them the following Wednesday/Thursday. Got my order confirmation on Wednesday after placing order. Got an email on Friday saying they received my order today and I needed to pay for shipping on a drop ship item that was out of stock. Asked if rest of order was shipping and they said yes. Tuesday came and never received a shipping confirmation. Called them and they said it was shipping out today. Well, still didn't get a confirmation on shipping Wednesday. So I had to order parts next day air (CAUSE THATS CHEAP) from another supplier so I can race on Friday.

They offer a simple yard cart style go kart. It's a build it yourself ( all parts bolt on all welds are done) and comes with everything except an engine for around 750. Then you will need to get a harbor freight 212cc predator. They run around around 100$ and are your best option.
