My husband and I visited Pat’s after a recommendation from his mother. My husband ordered the French dip and I ordered shrimp and grits. His French dip was fine, however my shrimp and grits were not. The shrimp were rubbery and over cooked. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive and noticed that I wasn’t eating. I explained the problem and she took my plate away. I had eaten less than 5 bites. She went to the cook or management and asked to have it taken off the bill. Instead of coming to the table and saying “I’m sorry there was a problem with your meal.” The cook came out and was accusatory about my expectations and that maybe it wasn’t the meal for me. I’ve had this same meal at many different places and cooked it myself. I know that it is easy to overcook the shrimp. The reason we will not be back is not necessarily because of the food, but because of the way he responded to my complaint and the way that he treated the waitstaff that was just trying to do her job and take care of the customer.

10/10 recommend!! Food is awesome. I got chopped steak with fries and sweet chili broccoli. Amazing! (and look at how much fries they gave me lol) My boyfriend got garlic green beans as side and it was awesome too. Plus the price is super reasonable and the service is friendly! The environment is quiet and spacey. The owner walked out and checked on everyone during dinner time. Would definitely come back again!

Updating my review because we just had the most amazing brunch here and wanted to share the details. So we discovered today that Pat's serves a $17 brunch buffet on Sundays until 2. By buffet I mean the staff serves food from behind plexiglass, not random strangers sticking their hands and faces all in the food (which was gross even before Covid). It includes (in the buffet line) eggs, sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes, ham (sliced right there), biscuits and gravy, grits and a huge plethora of pastries and muffins. You can also ask the waitress for pancakes, omelets, eggs Benedict and French toast. I had a pancake (it was huge) and my husband had the French toast. He said it was the best French toast he has ever eaten - I tried it and have to concur. It was SO GOOD. In fact everything was good and you never know what the quality will be like in an all you can eat situation. The place was definitely busy - we came in at 1 and there was no wait but the tables were full. Tables are fairly close together if that's a concern for you. Overall - we were really impressed!! We will definitely be back for another brunch, everything was delicious and the staff were great.

I had the shrimp and grits and really enjoyed it. My husband also enjoyed his fried pork chops. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. This was our first time there but they made us feel like old friends. We were seated where we could see …Sandy, thank you for taking the time to let us know that you and your husband loved your meal here! We cannot wait to host you both again for some more delicious pork chops. - Pat's Eatery

Yep! On Sunday from 9-2 (I think). Super good.
I don't believe so, but if you go on Tuesdays their special is an open face prime rib sandwich and it is sooo good :-)
