If so what is the occasion to come out to the fountain on a weekday?? just curious that's all

24 hours, but posted hours are 7am to 12 am for the park to be 'open'.

Yes the park is free and you're able to control some of the Jets of the fountain with your cell phone, if you're on the Wi-Fi in the park. Food truck Fridays are a good time to visit. Starting in May and running through October, on the third Friday of the month there's Food Truck Friday. It starts at 6 and runs until 10 p.m. There's live entertainment, and of course multiple food trucks with about everything you could think to eat. The local craft beers are also available.

Fountain Park is a beautiful Park to visit for the family they have live music food trucks

Would be lovely but maybe a little noisy. Check with Rock Hill park service. Have had beggars approach me there but they are friendly and non aggressive. Could ask police about parking near the Museum across the street or near Main and Elizabeth St. Good luck and congrats.

Nope.. no place to get wet. The fountain is just for viewing.. kids can play in park though. Can't get into the water
